Today we had a very special encounter with three Orcas that were travelling down Whale Channel, on the East side of Gil Island, while we were paddling north towards Hartley Bay. This is a pretty big channel and we were lucky to have them come right by our canoe as we paddled on. Click through the pictures above or see gallery:here.
