Come out THIS THURSDAY March 8th to watch the FIRST Squamish screening of Peace Out. This outstanding documentary was awarded ‘The most popular Canadian documentary’ at the Vancouver International Film Festival. The film deals with the true costs of energy as it covers resource extraction across BC and Alberta, specifically focusing on the Peace River region. Join us in a Q&A with special guests Peace Out director, Charles Wilkinson, and producer Tina Schliessler.
Entrance is by donation and proceeds will go to the student-led paddle trip: the Great Bear Rainforest Youth Paddle. The GBR Youth Paddle supports the First Nations people in opposition of the Enbridge and contributes to the growing campaign for the preservation the Great Bear Rainforest.
